Green Card RIR in trouble. Please Help

Hi:

I filed for my GreenCard last November (2000) and I went through the RIR process. We still have not recieved approval for the labor certification.
I spoke to the lawyer and he says that our application was filed RIR in November however the company started laying of people in August this year so the State(Mass) and Federal are both treating this as a special case. Im getting a little nervous now. Anyone who has been in the same boat or any kind of help or information regaring this will be greatly appreciated.

My husband applied for LC last year(2001,Feb7),for today its exactly one year and today we got a mail from attorney saying that your LC is rejected.His case is also like the same as you.he applied in EB2 RIR in Massachusetts.His company(EMC) had layoffs in last two quarters that\'s why they rejected his LC.I really hate Mass Labor department

I hope that it wont happen to u and others
