Green Card Question for father

Hello Gurus,
First of all, I apologize for posting this as a new thread. I have returned to this site after a long time and was just overwhelmed by the amount of information that resides on this forum.

Recently I have become a US citizen and the next and hopefully the last step is to file for my father's green card. He is widowed and living alone in India and I am desperate to get him here with me. I have tried to get him tourist visa but his visa has been denied 4 times already.

The question I have is -
1) Which for I should be filing other then I - 130.
2) As I am confused from reading a lot of info from the other threads, what other forms that I need to file?
3) Can some one give me a document check list to send along with the form/s. If my father does not have a marriage certificate, what should I do.

Hey Thanks Atlanta_Brother, Does that mean I dont have to file for 485? I am still not sure when should one file 485.
 
Do I need to file form G325 with I130 for my father

can any one suggest me if I have to file form G325 with I130 for my father
 
130 instructions doesnt say any thing about g325

I am just going to send in I 130 with other documents and will figure out if they ask for it.

Other question - I dont have a birth certificate currently, but I have affidavites from both my parents from 2001, are those considered still valid? I think I used those for my green card.
