Green Card Processing time through PERM

hello,

My company is going to sponsor my Green card through PERM.
My current work location is Chicago, and my company's HQ is in Texas. I have the option of getting it applied from either of the two locations.
Could you please advice which one would be the faster and safer to get the Green Card through.

Does location matter when applying through PERM? I thought it did not matter where you file your LC from anymore.
