Green Card process ... how long ??

My 6 year H1-B period will expire by Jun 2004. My Company has finally accepted to start my Green card process. I would like to get a gut feeling from you people, who know better, that if I start the process now, will I get it through ? Or is it too late ?

I will greatly appreciate any response ...
 
hi..

I think u shud be fine and now if u have ur 140 (ie second stage approved) u can be in US without H1. So dont worry. u will be fine
