Green Card Petition for Grandparent

Hello,

Need some help on this one. A friend of mine has a grandparent aged 86 who she would like to have reside in the US with due to her age and all. Any advice? This is what she sent me:

I am a US citizen who would like to petition for my 86 year old grandmother to live with me here in the United States. My reasons for considering a petition are that she is of advanced age and has all her family living here with no one in Mexico to care of her.

Is there any channel through which I could petition the USCIS to allow her to live with me in the US? Currently she resides with me, but on a temporary visit visa which expires soon.

I would appreciate any advice on this matter.

the easiest path would be if she has any USC children. will take less than a year.
the longer path would be her USC siblings. will take 6/7 yrs or more.
