We have been married for 6 yrs and have a kid who is going to be 5 yrs. i recently got my Green card through my wife. A year before i got my green card, i send my wife and kid along with my in laws to US. I send 50000 US in my father in laws account (have proofs) to buy a grocery store, so thy could hanlde the expesnes out there from tht business. They bought a store in her father's name.
I reached US- Chicago on June 2011, after a week, i asked my father in law to have the store transfred in my name. Suprisely he doesnt want to have the shop into my name. My wife too supports her dad. She says, she wants the house (in india) in her name to have the shop name transfred to me. I am not able to build my credit history as none are on my name, but my money.
Its been to months since i am been treated like a slave. My wife now says, she wants a divorce. i am ready for it, but i need my son. Thought 2 months i have not received my green card my post. The address it will be posted is the house i stay with thm. As i felt trouble (if they make some storeis and have me jailed), i flew off to india without receiving my Green Card as i had I-551 stamped in my passport.

Now my questions are
1. Can i have my green card send to my freinds address, if so, how will i do the address change?
2. can i travel back to US with I-551
2. Can my wife or in laws revoke my green card by making up some stories
3. can i sue my father in law for cheating me. I have the proofs which shows i transfred the money to his bank account.
4. How can i have the posseion of my son?

Please help me.

Thanks,
Godwin

1. Check the USCIS website. There is a link to address change. You may need to order a new Green Card if the card was delivered and they determine its your fault its lost.
2. Yes, depends how long you have been away.
3. Yes, get an attorney for that. Since the amount is greater than $5000, you cant do it in small claims court
4. Get an attorney for that. You most likely will not get "possession" of your kid, but will probably get some form of custody arrangement

Good luck!
