Green card Lottery to indian born child and mother born in Aden

Hi,

I just wanted to find out, Am I eligible to apply for green card lottery as my mother born in aden, Yemen but then moved to India. she's holding British passport now and I am on Indian passport.

Help would be much appreciated !!
 
You were born in India and your mother lived there?
No, you are not eligible. You would only be eligible if she was only temporarily in India and your father was not indian (or otherwise from another eligible country, and again in India temporarily at the time of your birth).
It's irrelevant who holds what passport, it is countries of birth that matter.
 
My mother moved to India after she born in Yemen and then she got married in India. she lived there and held Indian passport but later on around 2000 she applied for British passport. my dad was born in India too and holding Indian passport currently...
