Green card Journey Finally Over...

Me and My wife finally got over our cards in the mail on 04/22. See signature below for details. The card has category, in that it is mentioned as E37 for myself and as E39 for spuse. The labor is a substituted labor. I have a masters degree in US long before i concurrently filed for my I140 and I485. But since the labor was done for a guy under EB3, i was in the EB3 category. Does any one else here have a similar experience? Is this OK or is there something i need to worry about?

PD: 06/2001 (Philadelphia)
Labor approved 09/2003.

Self and Spuse:
I140/I485 Concurrent Filing at VSC: 11/2003.
I140 AD: 03/2004.
I485 AD: 03/16/2005.
PP Stamped(Dallas): 03/31/2005
LUD changed on 04/15/2005 - Card Ordered.
LUD changed on 04/19/2005 - Card Mailed.
LUD changed on 04/20/2005
Card Received in mail - 04/22/2005.

Your total time taken for GC = 3 yrs 10 months...
Time taken for you: 1 yr 6months (eb3 -sub)
Now relax and enjoy :)

Actually my company did not apply labor for me eventhough i am working for them since early 2002, so effectively i gained like only 6 months, this is not a pre-approved labor, albeit beinga labor sub. Eventhough i had a masters degree, since the labor was filed under EB3, i guess USCIS never took note of my Masters degree. Anyways, if no one else has this sort of an experience, hopefully this should end well in future.

One had to have atleast equal/comparable educational qualification and years of exp specified in LC . Being over-qualified and more years of Exp, dont have any negative impact since LC is driven by Job requirements. Also, one can also file 140 in eb3 even LC qualifies for eb2.

masters degree can be substitued for 2 years exp if one were short of few years exp on eb3/LC.= BS + 3yrs exp =~ MS + 1 yr exp.

for eb2/LC= MS + 3 yrs exp =~ BS + 5 yrs exp


So, Definitely, you are fine.
