Green Card Interview! Need Help!

Hello,
I have an interview scheduled on March 16, 2006. Can someone confirm, If approved, how long does it take to get the actual Green card in hand. Also can I travel outside United States with temp. GC? Do I need AP for Reentry? Please advise. Thanks.

Some DO stamps the passport right at the interview which is good for travel outside USA.The GC should arrive sooner or later, you can read posts about this.Once you have the GC, even conditional ( less than 2 years of marriage) you can travel with it, no AP necessary anymore.

AP (or rather re-entry permit) is needed if you plan to stay out of US for more than 1 year but less than 2 years.
