My green card is based on asylum and I have had it for three years now (4 years, counting the backdating). I applied for my third Refugee Travel Document (RTD) in March and just received it this morning. There is a typo on the RTD under "Nationality", it says "South Africa". I am not South African. On my GC my nationality is listed as "Pakistan" - which it is.
I have to travel to the Netherlands in two weeks. And I don't believe that USCIS will send me a new corrected RTD soon enough. Or will they? Should I use the RTD and go to the Netherlands and re-enter the USA with my green card and then send the RTD back for correction? Should I not travel? Really worried here.
