I’m a U.S. green card holder, age 69, currently living in the U.S. at my son’s home.
- Since Aug 2022, I had two trips abroad, each about 7 months, to handle family/property matters.
- I have no U.S. bank account or bills in my name. My son covers all my living expenses.
- I have two sons abroad with recently approved I-130; NVC is asking for strong evidence of U.S. domicile, I was attached state ID and they rejected.
- I plan to stay permanently in the U.S. now and re-establish ties,
- Writing a statement to NVC explaining my intent to re-establish domicile.
- I planning to create bank account and asking my son to add me on the utility bill.
