I have received my greencard after getting approved for asylum, I have 2 questions? can i go back to my home country after receiving my green card? and if i find a job in another country and would like to pursue my job opportunities there, what should i do to maintain my status and not have any hiccups in the citizenship application process.
Thank You

You can't go back home, you can't even go to your country's embassy to get a NP (National Passport), if you want to travel you need a RTD ( Refugee Travel Document), I don't see how you can can go to your country and then exit using a Refugee's Passport. If you think about it, It's not even ethical

Actually some countries do not accept refugee travel documents, ex UAE, so you are left with no choice but to get in with your visa, besides, having refugee status still means your a citizen of your country, it's just that you can't go back while you are still a citizen, so i guess you answered my first uestion, how about the second one, what if i found a job in the UAE, where no matter how long you stay, you cannot get permanent status, what should i do to keep my green card active

you can read a lot about that subject in all this forum
my advice..just my humble advice..if you have an emergency..family etc..go and please take with you all the papers to show the type of emergency why you went..but never ever abuse...just only for go..is not a good idea...really..but if your mon dad o family member need you there..just go for some days..once... but never abuse cause the idea is not abuse of the system cause it will damage the reputations to us asyless..
if your mother or family member need you..cause god protect her or him...just go and come back as soon as you can...with the papers..notary autenticated..and official translation..
just my humble advice..i'm not a lawyer,,
best wishes
