I am very close to get Citizenship and planning to apply GC for parents .

I live in Upstate NY . Do I have to apply I-130 , I-485 , medical , biographic infomation , affidivit of support all together to Service center or local district office or Chicago office ?

Right now I am very confused about where to send I-130 and I-485 combined or seperately ?

Do I have to send medical exmination and affidavit of support at the time of filing application or just give at the time of Interview ?
Do I have to send all together to Chicago processing center at the time of application ?
1. I-130
2. G-325a
2. I-864
2. I-485
and medical examination ???

Please help ...

Check www.uscis.gov
Since you will be a USC you can apply all consequently and yes you have to include their medical examination in a sealed envelope with all the forms.
At the website explains the Mail Direct Program that you have to file family base at Chicago Lockbox. Check the website. This thread has been discussed in other threads.

good luck,

Do I have to do this ?

Do I have to Send all forms to Chicago Lock Box or I-130 at Vermont Service Center and all other forms at Chicago . I am really confused .
When I look at the form I-130 it says that to send to service center .
please help in this matter

As I said, if you read in the www.uscis.gov about "How to bring my Parents to live in the US" explains that you have to apply a petition I-130 right? Then it says that if your parents are already in the US you can apply at the same time for Adjustment of status I-485. When you go to the filing procedures on I-485 or Adjustment of Status explains perfectly WHERE TO FILE even are in bold letters! Everything is explains totally perfectly if you read carefully all the parts.

Read all please.

good luck,

As Cherr1980 said, sent all of them to Chicago lock box.

Oh, your parents are in the US right? if they are NOT in the US, then you have to file first I-130 alone with all the supportive documents but the filing instructions are INSIDE the form, so download the form and you will find instructions and read them carefully too.

good luck,

But it seems like you did not send affidavit of support and Medical examination papers with your application in chicago lock box ??

Do I have to send those too or Give it to DO at the time of interview ??

When you send the AOS packet to the chicago lock box, you have to send the affidavit of support and the sealed medical envelope too or you would get a RFE which could further delay your process.

If parents are in USA now then:
"As I said, if you read in the www.uscis.gov about "How to bring my Parents to live in the US" explains that you have to apply a petition I-130 right? I think more explit nobody can be. Did you download the forms? Read them?
A RFE is a request for further information and can cause a delay in your case. Download ALL the packet I-130/I-485 and etc. and read them. This is very frustrating. People are able to help you but if you don't read all the instructions and all the forms then you won't understand what are we talking about.

The best site is www.uscis.gov. Go there first, read all and if you have a doubt about a form (after read all that) then we are able to explain the filing, the process and our experiences.

By the way, since you still have to wait for your citizenship, the medical exam is valid for 12 months is my understanding so is the last thing your parents should do before add it to their file. What you can check out in their medical is if they have all the immunizations and things like that, that if they are not immune and need to take it takes time and they can do it in advance.

Probably I sound some impatient but seems that you haven't read all the forms ;)

good luck,

good luck,

Parents are in visiting visa so they are travelling back and forth to india and usa . But they are going to do AOS here in US so that things will be faster , i guess
They are visiting in India soon .
They have no vaccination records .
What are the vaccinations do you recommend ?
They can get x rays and vaccine in india for cheaper .
What are the medical checks up do you recommend so that we have to do less medical check up here in USA
Thank you

Vaccinations, medical reports and X-Rays from outside US are not accepted. One visit to the civil surgeon would explain what needs to be done. All immunization shots are provided by the civil surgeon if your immunization sheet is not up to date. Optionally, you can get those shots from your physician before you go for the medical examination.

You cannot cut corners and have the medical done elsewhere as it wont be accepted. All medical tests must be performed by a USCIS appointed civil suregon inside the US.

More information here...
http://uscis.gov/graphics/Medical_Exam.htm

And FYI: X-Rays need to be taken only if the results of the TB test are positive.
