Green card for my spouse

There maybe a situation in the near future when I get my green card while my wife is on F1 or her own H1B (if she starts working after completing her Masters which she is pursuing right now).

When and how can she get her GC as well after mine is approved? How complicated is this?

My current application is in EB2 category but I am pushing my employer to do another application under EB1. While this goes on we are planning to convert my wife's H4 to F1.
With that she will be able to do internship in summer.. I am wondering wat happens when she is on F1 and I get approved under EB1.
Is this is even a smart decision to bring her on F1?

If she is in the country with valid non-immigrant status, whether on F-1 or H-4, and she is included in your GC application, she will get her GC when you get yours.

EB2 with PD: Feb 2010.

As I mentioned previously I am going to push my employer to apply for me again under EB1 since I have a PhD and now have almost 3 years of work experience as well.
