Got the wonderful 3 emails today.485 has been approved for both me and wife.


Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or
to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On April 10, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a
new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

After 4 years and 6 months the journey is over.

EB2 -RIR-PD is October 2001

If they pass the new immigration law, the illegal ones will probably get their GC in about the same period of time.

If that really happens, you only need to get a visa to enter the country and wait for your GC to come How wonderful!!
