Just wanted to share something.

I did my finger printing on august 5th , i check my status today and
see this

On August 11, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

WOW!!

Looks like NC rocks, my whole process ( labor + 140 + 485) took like 1 1/2 years for my EB2 application

My code was 3 and they took photo,, handprints, finger prints etc etc

Was done at charlotte center

tell us in detail. may be you applied for EAD which is approved. i think new card means EAD.

I already have my EAD card / AP card since 3 months,
it has to be 485 approval if the status says approved on aug 11th

I did finger printing on aug 5th

How long does it take to get the card into hands after 485 approval?

I guess I need to get my pass port stamped before that right?
