I have been living in US for more than 10 years Initially I was on H1 Visa. I gave my finger print for green card on 4/29/03 and I got my DUI ticket( class B misdemeanor) and arrest on 7/6/03. I was in detention for few hrs and then I got 6 months probation DUI school, fines, community service, and license suspended for 6 months. I completed everything by march 04 I did not have any GC interview i just got the approval letter and I went for red stamp. I did not reported that to INS and got my Green Card on june 2004. someone on forum told me that this has to be reported to INS I never realized that it has to be reported. What could be the consequence and should I report it now, in next few months I will be filing my citizenship. would this effect my citizenship. This is my only DUI and I was not driving I was sleeping in my car in parking lot behind the steering with ignition on.

so you dindn't report this to the immigration officer when you had your gc interview. you have to disclose everysingle arrest to immigration you can't lie

my case was approved there was no GC interview I had to just go for my red stamp

well then you didn't hide anything, just apply your naturalization and disclose everything with the dui ticcket, and disposition in your application, you should be fine
