Updated 05/17/2002: NSC EB-485 Delays and Good News Ahead

People have been wondering why EB-485 processing times have not progressed for the last month. As we posted earlier, the INS has been conducting Interagency Border Inspection System checks on all cases, including EB-485 applications. With limited number of adjudicators, it has caused delay in processing.
NSC has reported to the AILA that now the employment-based I-485 adjudication team has expanded, and has 2 to 3 more adjudicators, and approximately 4 to 5 more adjudicators are expected to join the team. Accordingly, it is expected that the NSC will achieve a higher rate of EB-485 completions in the coming month. Please stay tuned to this web site. Back to Top

Actions, not words...

is what we need.
I will be encouraged only when we see some approvals from NSC. Currently they\'ve almost come to a standstill.

Look at the original mail

The website says:

My Comments: I find it strange that the NSC is telling AILA that 2 to 3 adjudicators have been added. If at all this is true, they have to give out the concrete number of Adjudicators added. How can they say 2 to 3 now and 4 to 5 later? It sounds fishy.

2 to 3 and 4 to 5 sounds like this, which is familiar to them: I485 applications will take 1 to 2 ye

what is that 2 to 3 to 4 to 5. i thought they had dozens working on 485 and even during the weekends

i heard they have rooms full of 485 apps that simply isn\'t possible by 2 to 3 to 4 to 5 or whatever.
This news is just a garbage, one person opinion.
