Hi Great Guru,

My educational background is

Bachelor of Science - Specialisation in Chemistry - University of Bombay

&

Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Pollution Control & Technology - University of Bombay

My work experience is "Environmental Engineer" for 3 years between 1994 to 1997 with Consulting Firm in Bombay. 1 year with Market Research firm in Dubai.



So wanted to know whether there could be chance of getting H1B considering -

There was a gap of 10 years from now and my last job experience.

Would appreciate your inputs.

There is a company who is willing to apply for an H1B for me.

But my query is when there is a gap of 8-9 years between my last work experience and now , what would be my chances of getting an H1B petition approved when we make H1B application in April 2008.


Any idea/opinion ??

Would appreciate your inputs.
 
The gap will not affect your H1b.
