i am seriosly thinking about switching to CP processing after all these.. I believed in this 9 months approval and planned everything accordingly. Now i want to finish off, i have to go back to my home countary i have to risk all and do this now.


BTW did magesh_kk get the sabatical from this forum like INS did ...

Good idea !!

1) Can one switch from AOS to CP once they have used EAD?

2) What is the procedure for switching?

3) When can you expect the interview if you start the procedure for switching now?

Nope

Once you Opt For Adjustment of Status, you Can NOT switch to CP.
The other way is allowed but not AOS to CP.

CP is still an option

You can apply for CP even after having filed for AOS. Form 824. Look up other threads for info/timelines etc.
 
yes cp is still an ok option if your i-140 is for cp.. (like mine, or edison-nj i remember from last years december discussions)

But who guarantees that they will not start fbi checks after your cp interview, This time you will stuck there...

I decide to wait for my wife's labour- I-140 to complete with her company. Then we will apply for cp while waiting on my I-485 AOS.

I heard somebody did the same way. Also hope things get clear by that time..
