Hi,
My RD is 11/6/06 and has received NOA of I-485,I-130 and I-765(all receipt notice) in mid Nov.
And I just got another NOA yesterday....and it says "REQUEST FOR APPLICANT TO APEAR FOR INITIAL INTERVIEW", and case type " FORM I-485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS"....in this notice, it also asks my spouse to attend the interview with me, along with all the supporting doc. and evidence.

Is this the GC interview letter? I think it is, but just not 100% sure. And I did not receive any letter for my fingerprint appointment and the biometrics, I thought I suppose to do the fingerprint and biometrics before the GC interview?

Thank you!

Congratulations on a very fast interview letter. Although you have not gotten you biometrics I suspect before you goto interview you will have gotten it. I beleive you can do your biometrics at the interview office as well, so if you dont get it done you should definetely ask the officer to have that done then and there.

Even if you interview your case will not be approved without biometircs.

Yes, they'll do biometrics on the interview date if they fail do do them before :) This is gonna happen to me, I figure :)

Thank you all for your confirmation. It definitely comes sooner then I expected, but hey..good for me :)....and the interview office is a 5-minute drive from our apartment....so that's even better...now I just need to get all my doc. ready then.

Again, thank you all.
