Got the green card, work outside USA

Hello,

I already got the green card for about a year, it is possible to work outside the usa and maintain my green card status with following condition?

1 My company not send me there but they allow me to work from home, which I decide to work from other country and they agree

2There is no branch or office of the company in the country that I want to go there and work

3 I will work there longer than a year

4 I still working for the same company that I currently working in usa and they still pay me the direct deposit to the US bank

it is possible? What I need to do to maintain my green card status?

You got the green card to permanently live in the US. That is what you do to maintain it. You can visit other countries for short periods (few months) but if you start living in another country, you abandon your GC. Getting a paycheck or even owning a house in US will not matter if you are not living in the US. This topic has been discussed in much detail and you should be able to find the previous threads easily.

If there is a "temporary" need for you to stay outside the US for more than 6 months, you can obtain a re-entry permit and maintain your GC even if you are out of the US for extended period.
 
Well, if you are going to work from home, can you do it like 4-5 months from your home abroad and 1-2 months from your home in the States?

I guess if you work for the US company and maintain your house/apt in the US, that's the evidence that you did not intend to abandon your residence in the States.

While I was on green card, I travelled to off-shore site and worked from there for some months, while being paid in US as usual.

But if your stay is long, take a reentry permit before you leave.
