Finally RFE came:

EB1-EA, concurrent, RD 8/2002

1) provide a letter from current employer stating hire date, duties, salary, prospect of continuous employment.'
2) 3 month's paystab.

I was layed off from previous company (Company A) shortly after RD, then I started work in the current company within 2 month of that. The my current salary is 30% lower than when I worked for Company A, but still a little higher than previlige wage. I did not claim high salary in my I-140 petition, but I did fill it in the form. Dear gurus, Will this be a problem?

Besides the required information, do I need write a cover letter? If so, is there any important point I shall put in the letter?

Thanks a lot.

You need to repond with AC21, Check the AC21 Forum for details etc.
Essentially you need to send the EVL letter + cover letter etc. They must supply current job info- title/dec/salary etc.

a little correction

actually for eb1-ea , ac21 is irrelevant since job offer is not required.
what one might need to do is outline the job duties/field of work which is similar to 140.
writing about ac21 may or may not help. in my opinion this is something which we are offering in extra to what they want. might raise other issues unnecessarily.
finally do what you/your attorney think is best for the case.
in my rfe, i just submitted the job letter mentioning duties, field of work, full time employee and wages.
Hope this helps.
