Got RFE on AP renewal

I got RFE on my AP renewal.
I applied for AP renewal by myself.

For me BCIS asked for a copy of my I-140 approval notice. ( I am the prime applicant)

For my wife BCIS asked for a copy of my I-140 approval notice and copy of Marriage Certificate and/or Birth Certificate.

I don't know why the officer need these even for renewal.

It seems it is better to send these documents with AP/EAD renewal application even though BCIS didn't ask for these in the instructions.

I am lucky that my EAD was approved last week without any RFE even though I did not send my I-140 approval notice with the application.

Thanks Sivam for posting this information.

You are very lucky that you had applied at NSC on 04/09 and they atleast have started looking into your case.

There are several people who have applied for AP at TSC in 11/02 and they are still waiting for TSC to start looking into their applications.

TSC is too much behind compared to other Service Centers for AP.

My RD is 03/12 and I am still waiting for Approval...
