Checked online status 11:00 AM. Same old message.
just checked it and says:
On November 26, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283

Will keep you posted.

reply ASAP and u might escape FP2[depends on the officer...if it's close to expiry, somemight not ask for redoing FP]

I checked the online message today. I have the same message as yours.

How long will it take to receive the RFE by mail???

List of docs for RFE

I am preparing my docs for the RFE I got, (still dont know the details).
Making copies of the following:
1. Last 6 months pay stubs
2. Last 2 years W-2
3. Called up IRS to get copies for last 2 years tax return. Takes upto 15 days to get it.
4. Copy of offer letter ( 3 yrs old).
5. Copies of previous H-1 approvals.
6. Get letter from employer showing my employment etc.

Since my spouse online status still shows the same old message (recvd FP) I am assuming that it is a RFE based on the above .

Can anybody add to the above list/ Any more thoughts ????
 
why do we need to contact IRS for tax return, can i use the copy of my tax returns that i filled for last 2 years ..please explain this further
also where does rfe go , to my address or my attorneys

Yes - you can just make copies of the copies of your tax returns.
I believe GAMBLER may have lost his last 2 years tax returns...?

That should not be problem.

U need to get certified copies from IRS, especially if filed electronically.

U should find info at irs.gov. It is a free servce.
