Well it has been almost 3 months since I sent all of my parent's paperwork and the only RFE that I received was for the I-864 form (I used a friend of mine as a sponsor and I sent the I-864 form from him but I forgot to include another I-864 from the petitioner (in this case this is me).
Both of my parents already received their work permit (EAD) and social security card but the I-130 and I-485 are still pending. Do you believe that at this point we will get a RFE requesting my marriage certificate?
Hi... I know! I've already sent my mrg certificate thrice.... When I got GC, when u became citizen n then for passport. I don't understand though why they want my previous mrg cert now when they never did before for all my petitions! But that has been taken care of now.

When I sent documents(Feb 7th) and DS-230. I explain in letter as below why I am sending affidivate and NABC instead of Birth certificate. Will this letter work ?

My Father (beneficiary) is illiterate and not gone in a school and father’s parents did not register his birth. During old age of 1955, it was not awareness to register birth so my father do not have birth certificate so I have included here original and copy of non-availability letter from government officials from place where my father born. I have also included original and copy of affidavit from my two relatives.
I appreciate your help and kindness to accept documents in lieu of birth certificate of my father.

It should work! The requirement is NABC and 2 affidavits and good you wrote the letter already. Rest is upto them if they want a particular detail or specific language. I'll let you know when I get an update from NVC.
Congrats!.......that was quick. I have the same status....waiting to be scheduled for interview. Lets see when this happens now. I'm guessing the interview date should be in the 1st week of April. Keep us posted.
