Got RFE for 485

RFE: 07/31/03 (for both my case and my wife's)

Working for the same employer in the last 4 years. Got married long time before filing 485, so don't know why my wife also got an RFE.

One of my friend who filed his I485 one week before me got his case approved straight without RFE. Another friend of mine who filed his I-485 one week after me got his RFE one month before me.
 
Its just matter of LUCK (or should I say bad luck!!)

and need not to worry, I know a friend of mine who grdauated from the same university in Pakistan as I did and work in my company and almost all of the things are same (except that we married two different girls !!). That fellow applied 5 months after I did and he has gotten his green card about 4 weeks ago and I just continue to wait. Did I mention that he never got any RFEs and I have replied to at least 2 RFEs so far.

Are your friends also from NSC states? sometime countries matter
to if they are from Canada or any European countries then it is likely that they can approval(or action) sooner.
Post more details about your friends if you have that.
 
We are all from the same country: China, all filed at the same INS service center: NSC, and all fall into the same category: EB2.
