Got RFE e-mail from ucis.gov for both me and my wife ??

anybody in the same shoes?

Does anyone know if its for EVL, W-2 tax or some other.

Also i've heard that RFE is sent to the lawyaers address

Do we ever get a copy of the RFE???

my case number is

and wifes is also

No need to worry!. Talk to your lawyer. Your lawyer will mail the RFE papers to you. You reply and mail them back either to your lawyer or INS directly.
If you want to know before those papers reach you, ask your lawyer to fax them to you. If the lawyer hasn't got them yet, nothing you can do, but wait.

Its possible both can get RFEs. Derivative's RFE could be on medical/birth certificate/marriage certificate etc., Primary's could be EVL/W2 etc., Wait for the papers.
 
One thing you could do...

If you think it's something that could take you a while to get together, start working on it. So, I keep a set of files that are for an RFE in case I get one. I gathered a whole bunch of old pay statements,copied three years of tax returns etc... so that if the day comes then I can hustle and turn it around fast... so go copy things, collect things, and perhaps, if nothing else, it'll make you feel more prepared.

becky, smart advice.

Also, you should constantly follow up with your lawyer and his/her paralegals. My lawyer left a voice message using my old telephone number. And my RFE was sleeping for three days before anyone attempted to do anything with it. This in spite of me sending emails to the lawyer daily.

talked to my attorney
My attorey on g-28 has left the company and another lawyer is handling the
case.

He was asking for an additional for RFE.
I told himw that we had already paid him for i-485.
He said if its a simple case then he would not charge but complex he will let us know.
