Got retrun from USCIS for the fax that i submit for expediate service

Dear Forum:

I have gotte a response letter from USCIS describing my request for expediate service was not satisfactory so the are going to process my case as routine way.. Letter says i still can re-submit my case for expediate service as long as i have a concrete reason of documentation to attach.
 
I went through the same situation, and this is what i did:

I contacted my senator's office, and they faxed me a form giving them authorization to inquire about the case. I filled in the form, and faxed it to NSC EVERY SINGLE DAY for like a week, and I got the document.

I thought it was because the senator's gestion, but after receiving the RTD i got a letter from the senator saying that they were going to try to do something, so I assume it was because of me bugging them every day. I got my GC the same way, but by sending emails instead of faxes.

They are crazy. Infact bunch of useless lazy workers in that DHS/INS agency. All they do is sit down and do nothing.. Routine means between 4 to 6 months.. Well if they dont approve my stuff by DEC then I will renew my NP.
 
when did you send the fax and what was your reason to expedite?

Hello there. I hold asylum status and I applied for rtd on April 30,2007. I have a pending i-485 since 09/2005. This is my 3rd rtd application. I sent an expedite request to NSC for my rtd friday August 24,2007 via fax. How long did it take you to get a response from NSC and what was you reason to speed up rtd issuance? Mine was because I already have plans made to travel by the end of October , and the visas I need to the EU take a while to process and I cannot take any other time off this year according to my employer's personnel policy. I'll see what NSC says.:(
