Got refund from INS

Hi guys,

Yesterday I got 2 refund checks from INS for my AP and EAD renewal. I paid $120 for EAD and $110 for AP. and applied in end of Feb.

got $32 refund for EAD and $30 refund for AP.

expiry date is end of 2003

Both EAD and AP are for my wife. EAD check is in her name and AP check is in my name.

Why did they refund the money. Was your 485 approved before ead/ap approval??
