got OPT but F1 Visa is expiring

My OPT starts from sep 2005 and is valid till september 2006, My F1 Visa ends in December 2005. Will this get me in any trouble? can you tell me what my Status will be after december? I am planning to stay till the period of my OPT, and apply for H1. Kindly let me know asap, as I dont want to get into status problem.

you will continue being in F-1 status while on OPT - till your OPT expires. Visa expiration has nothing to do with your status.
