got my H1B transfer do i need to get it stamped again the new visa???

Hi everyone
Kindly someone any suggestions. I got my H1B transfer not it is valid till 03/2004 but on my passport it is valid till 10/2003 . Do i need to get it stamped it again if i travel or if i just carry the approval notice it is fine. Also where should i give for stamping (address or phone number) Is it safe to give the passport and then wait in tension for 6-8 weeks it may take for stamping. Also what about the H4 of my spouse and child?

Any help would be sppreciated thanks

Stamping is better...

You can get the stamping done (for you and your dependents) at St. Louis (link below). If you do not have any foreign travel within next 1-3 months you can risk the stamping which is a better alternative to POE harassment.
