Got my GC in 6 months!

Hi there, i just wanna share that this forum has been very helpfull for me. today i just got an email that my GC is approved after 6 months from the I-485 receipt date. here's my processing timeline:

04/21/07--asylum iterview
05/01/07--asylum approval
05/20/08--I485 receipt date
06/12/08--biometrics
11/21/08--GC production ordered

This is the best christmas gift :D

WOW, This is the fastest process I've ever heard for asylum case.It used to take decade or more.It is good news that USCIS moves fast now on asylum adjustment of status.
 
OK but how you got the GC???????

the law says 1 year.... did you apply in 6 months? how man? give us a hint

We have a similar timeline. I hope my approval comes quick also. Was it at TSC?
 
I have a question...Once u file your papers for greencard us till have to go through interview,right?? So,what do u they ask on that interview?
 
they dont interview everyone... just some people randomly.... mostly people with legal violations...

i have a question... so how many people here have filed their GC application in the past year and got it in less than 6 months?!?!
 
Actually my wife got her GC in about 4 months. Her RD was: Dec 15th, 2006 and got her GC on April 19th 2007. We were so happy.
