Hi,
Recently I got laid off, its hard to find job these days in such a tough market, I spoke with my employer to give me an employment letter in case I get RFE but he refused to give me so.
What are the chances to get RFE?
If I get job in different state will that effect my I 485 application.
Are pay stubs necessary.
Any help will be highly appreciated what are the other options I could try.
Thanks
Tushar

I guess you should be fine ...

Chances of getting an RFE are pretty slim unless ofcourse you havent submitted the relevant documents. Now, what are the relevant documents depends upon what your attorney considers as relevant.

When I submitted my I-485, my attorney never asked me to submit the W2 tax returns or for my paystubs. On second thoughts I wish I did. It is always better to be on the safer side.

Not submitting Medicals,birth/marriage certificate could be some other reasons for an RFE.

If I were you I would not worry about RFE unless the INS issues one. Many times people do get approved in spite of not submitting all documents. I guess it just varies from case to case

As for your options, try and find a new job asap on your EAD. I think if 180 days passed you should be fine.

Good Luck

Dont worry about the RFE. Only a small portion of AOS gets RFE/Interview. Even if you do get one for employment reason, you can show your then current employers letter/paystub.The job is what you should worry about most. Take it easy and just 'Do your thing"
