A friend of mine got laid off after 3 weeks after getting the PP stamped. She is yet to get the cards (AVM still says "....approved...". RD 07/30/01, EB2, RIR, AD 10/Jun). Is there anything that she ought to do in such situation as per law (inform INS etc). Also are there any implications for her vis-a-vis the Card itself (she only has temp stamp in PP as of now)? Off course she doesnt intend to file for unemployment.
