Got in late!!

I got my GC in 92, but continued to live and work in Canada till 96. During this period (92-96), I made at least one trip a month to the U.S. Finally, I moved to the U.S. in 96, and have been living and working here since then.

Would like to apply for citizenship, but I am not sure whether the first 4 yrs (92-96) will cause a problem for me.

Can someone advise on this. Thank you...

You should be okay since the N400 form appears to care only about where you worked or resided during the five years immediately preceding the date of application.

Good point. In general, while completing part 10 (Rev. 05/31/01) of the N400 form, if you find that you have to provide additional information, I would recommend that you hire an attorney.
