got iEAD and spoke to IIO in PHX

Got iEAD in Phoenix valid till 12/01/03. There were about 25 people before me and we came out at 9:30. No hassles at all.

Spoke to the IIO who accepted iEAD papers about pending EAD and 485. He was not at all helpful in providing information.
He was complaining about the staff at CSC.

He said "I don't know what they are doing out there in CSC. Probably looking out of the window and watching the fish jump out of water. Even we can process emp based 485. Why is that all those apps have to go to them? And when I asked about my case, he said look up the status on the web and gave me a paper with the URL. He said your company is paying your lawyer. Bug him instead of wasting your time here. I do not have any information on your case."
 
That makes sense , IF local offices can process interview based 485s why can't they be allowed to processs others. IT definately will reduce the load on main service centers.
 
Who says local service centers are fast, I know my case it has been transferred to local service center @ SFO in Dec2001 and still we are not through. I know at least four folks on this board who are waiting for there approval after interview. What they(local service center guys) have to do after interview, just approval and they are taking so much of time.
Once it comes to local service center they start working as same as of there counter part at CSC.

This IIO who was talking big also pointed out Phoenix office is processing November 2000 emp based 485 cases.
