I am a bit worried, DOS sent recommendation om March 1 to Vermont,no answer yet.Do they ever deny it?
My job is in Midwest, but I live on East cost and DOS sent it to Vermont
Does it make any difference?
Please answer me
Thanks

As fas as my knowledge goes INS never rejects the DOS recommendation.
mine is also from mideast.but I live in east so the application went to vermont. you should hear from them in couple of days. did u get the receipt number?

All the best

Congrulations J1physician..

This is interesting. I guess they don't do it first come first serve.

j1physician, tinci: did you both applied for H1b at the time when DOS was approved?

Thx m_img
my lawyer has applied for the H1 at texas center at the time of DOS. but once we receive the approval notice from vermont we have to send it to texas. that is what my understanding is. will keep u all posted

Where does DOS send approval to?

J1physician,

Did you apply for H1 with premimum processing? If so, did this help, i.e. did you get H1 early and/or USCIS approval of j1 waiver sooner because your application was with premium processing.

I suppose DOS sent to VT Service center because you lived in the east. I guess, they donot send to your local USCIS offices, correct?

I live in Michigan, does this means DOS will send approval to Nebraska Service Center?

And my job is in Maine, so the H1B will submitted to VT Service Center?
