Got I485 approved at CSC, now in Albany, NY can I get Passport Stamped here

Hi Guys,

Subject line says it all.

Got My AOS approved on 01/24/02 @ california servce center.
Made use of the 180 day rule, now I want to get my
passport stamped here.

Any suggestions on which office to go to. Will they let me
in or turn me down.

Hi, Bongo; Based on your information, you changed the employer after 180 days filing of I-485. Is that correct? I heard from my lawyer that the applicant based on EB1 do not allowed to change the employer untill his AOS be approved.

Everyone has their own interpretation of
the 180 day rule. My attorney firm was FDBL a well respected
firm and they said it was OK.

I think EB1\'s have greater flexibility because the
I140 petitions are based more on your research.
My attorney said (paraphrasing), "You can change jobs so long
as you are still doing what you were deemed an outstanding
resarcher for".
