Got I-485 receipt but no EAD reciept --Need info- Help please

Hi Folks,

I filed 485 for me and 485 and EAD for my wife. We got the I-485 reciepts but no reciept for my wife\'s EAD. Anybody in the same boat.
RD I-485 29 march 2001
ND I-485 April 16, 2001

I got the I-485 reciepts on April 20th, well my lawyer did. But no EAD application reciept.
