Got I-140 with my old employer, Can I get make use of this?

Hi All,
I got my I-140 with a old empoyer and I changes my employer in May. Can I make use of the I-140?
I H1-B with old employer is period will end in September.
Please let me know if I can make use of I-140 any way.

The only thing you can do is capture PD

Forgive me, I could barely understand the question. I hope you meant that you have changed the employer and wanted to know if you could use the I-140 that was approved rececently from your old employment.

The only thing you can do is get a photo copy of the I-140 approval copy. In the future if you want file PERM and get approved then at the time of filing I-140 submit the photocopy from previous I-140 approval. They will give you that Priority Date on the new I-140. For every new employment you need to file from scratch ie PERM unless you had filed I-485 and were 6 months into it before changing your jobs.

If you have valid H1B with old employer... you can still go and work for them... and continue new your jouney to GC with old employer
