Got H1 stamped in Montreal

Just a note: I got my H1 stamped in Montreal yesterday (Mar 4, 2002).. my experience was similar to what was posted by Shyam Gunda (posted on Jan 11, 02).

SOme hotels that I saw, closer to the consulate:

Hotel Travelodge
Holday Inn
Days Inn
Hotel Wnydham

Need help please!

I am on a H1 visa and doing medical residency. I got my H1 approved after clearing my USMLE exams coming here on Visitors visa. I visited US thrice before applying for H1. i am now planning to get my H1 stamped. What would be the best option for me?To get it stamped in chennai or Canada/mexico. Does a rejection of stamping have any adverse effect on our chances of getting it done in India?Please help.

I94 at the border

Thanks for te information. Did they ask you to submit the 194 at the border?What visa were u on before F1 or B1/B2 or H4?

No I did not have to submit my I94 at the border.
