Got Green Card Stamp - How long to must I wait before changing jobs?
Is there any legal requirement that I stay with the company that sponsored me for 180 days following the I-485 approval? At what point will I have fulfilled my obligations, as far as the government is concerned?

I did some more searching in this forum, and ended up here:

It sounds like what counts is "intent". What if you have the issue where the company is not doing so well, and you have other opportunities. It sounds like at the point it becomes an issue, it will be at the discretion of the government to establish the circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
By reading other threads, it also seems that it'll become an issue only when applying for naturalization. Is this true? Or, is the answer, like anything, "it depends"?

Q. How long must a legal permanent resident (LPR) remain with an employer?
A. There is no required amount of time that an LPR must remain with an employer. LPRs must be able to demonstrate that their intention at the time of adjustment to LPR status or entry as an immigrant is to remain with the sponsoring employer indefinitely.
