Got green card(6 months ago) !! can I change employer now

I got my greencard approved 6 months ago and I had been working with sponsoring employer since.
I have an offer on my plate that I would like to persue but concerned if this will impose any unwanted headaches from current employer.
My current employer is okay but pays less than what is out there!!

My concerns are as follows:

What powers does sponsoring employer have?

Green card process was on the house and I did not pay anything from my pocket and also remember not signing anything that would restrict me from moving along

Cutting benefits from next year

Thanks guys.
Wouldn\'t the fact that the employer will be cutting down some benefits from next year be good enough ground for leaving the employer ???

Maybe if it was offered as part of GC

Were these benefits offered as part of the LC phase/ permanent employment offer ? Then maybe it will be of help else disallowing additional benefits from next year that don\'t take you beneath the LC stated threshold may be of limited value in convincing INS that you had justifiable cause for change of intent after approval.
