Got funny email from USCIS

Gurus,

After my GC approval and got passport stampped on Jan 10, I got an email from USCIS on Jan 12.

It stated :

The following is the latest information on your case status

Receipt Number: MSC*********

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or
to Adjust Status

Current Status:

The interview scheduled in this case has been canceled. You will be
notified if the interview is rescheduled. :eek:

Another one for I-130

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR
ORPHAN

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On January 12, 2006, an approval notice
was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice,
you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address,
please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.


Gurus, please response me, if you have this kind of experience. And how long will take to get the welcome letter and plastic card?

Another one of those bloopers. Make an infopass appointment and find out. If you are not able to make infopass appointment soon enough, call them but DO FOLLOW-UP with an infopass appointment.
 
He already got the interview...I will wait for the card since you already got your passport stamped, actually another person over here received the same message and had the interview notice and when they call the 800 they told him/her to discard the message on the website. Those messages sometimes are wrong. Plus when the interview is done some over here had reported that their I-130 appears as approved.
But if you want to make an INFOPASS for that, is your call...

Thanks for you guys suggestions. I got approved and stampped on my passport. For this reason I am not worried about it. I would better wait for couple of weeks. In the mean time I will contact customer service, they have seperate immigration officers for the people who recently got permanent residency.

Please share the experience if anybody had same situation.

Got welcome letter

Got welcome letter for I-485 and approval notice for I-130 and online updated yesterday and stated:

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On January 17, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.


Hopefully I will get my card within a week. Gurus do you know how many days it will take to get plastic card from that online update?
