Got FP notice, no LUD change, no I-140 approval

I got fingerprinting notices today for both myself and my spouse. However I-140 has not yet been approved, not have I seen any update in activity since 11/07 when my concurrent I-140/I485 (EB1A) were acknowledged. Can anyone enlighten me as to what is going on. Is is commonplace to recieve fingerprinting notice without I_140 being approved.
 
Nikkasingh, Can you please let us know when you filed your 140/485 and from which state/city? I am not clear if you filed in 11/07/2004.
