Did your message changed from case not found for 485? Mine is same as yours but I didn\'t receive my FP yet. For my case, it still says case not found, so just curious for you if there is nay change in the message now?

karri, I haven\'t yet checked the phone message as it is always busy during the business hours. I will post it as soon as I try the phone message system.

It is amazing that you got your FP within 2 months. Could I have some info
(a) Are you a non info tech person?
(b) Do you work for a consulting firm?

What was your magic formula or is it plain luck? Congrats anyway

It is not plain luck; I got my FP after 2 months too:

RD 8/2000
FP 10/2000
PD is current

Applied via VSC.

I also know more than 10 cases who got FP within 2 months. So there is no luck. But I wish you GOOD LUCK.

I have heard cases of Non-India / China where people have got FP calls. But from India EB2, it really has got to be luck. Else what?
There are people waiting from August of last year?

I too got my FP notice recently (ND September 2000), but the phone message still
says "case not found".

   I am a technical person and works for a consulting company. I don\'t think the type of company you work matters. When I checked the AVM, still it says "Case not found....". It is not luck, who ever applied in Jul/Aug/Sep are getting the FP. Sorry for those who applied earlier (from Oct 99 to Jun 00) and haven\'t received the FP.

My RD: 08/25/00, ND:09/28/00 and I got my FP notice dated 10/25/00 and starting from 12/1/00. The funny part is we didn\'t receive EAD for my spouse till date. How long it should take for either EAD or GC for cases like that.
