I am applying for AOS as spouse of a US citizen and will be getting my EAD within the next couple weeks or so. I already have a SSN: do I have to get a new SS card without the "not authorized to work" sentence on it? Or can I work using this SSN.
Since you obviously can't use an SSN card that says "Not authorized to work" for getting a job, go to the nearest SSN office and get it updated, once you get the EAD. They'll send you a new card.
