Got Doctor's List in 1st Envelope

I was comparing the contents of my first envelope with other DV 2008 winners from my country and find out that Im the only one (out of the three I've checked) that has the doctors list in the 1st envelope. Is this the normal procedure. It means I can contact the Doctors now...However this doesnt seem so relevant since my number is current for December.

You are the first person I have heard of who got that. It was probably a mistake on KCC's part. That is good for you, it means you do not have to wait for the second package to know who are the authorized physicians so you can book your medicals early.

Did you also get the medical forms in the package? If so that makes it even easier.
 
No, medical forms were not included in the 1st. package...I only got a fax sheet with the list of the embassy authorised doctors, that was stapled with the picture size sheet from the DOS...weird ha!!!! however I think I rather wait 'till I get my interview date.

I meant as soon as you know your interview date, I am not sure if they will give you an appointment without the date. Where I am they asked for the interview date before they gave us an appointment to begin the medicals.

I see you should be current for December so you should get you interview date if you email KCC in a couple of days. All the best with the process :)

I also got the doctors' list in the first package. It seems to be normal procedure.
You will get them again in the second package.

I have my interview late November. I will let you know.

how long did it take you and how much did it cost?
