Dear All,

You wont believe this but somebody called me from Texas Service Center this afternoon and asked me couple of questions and then finally said 'Congratulations ! As of today you are a green card holder. You will receive cards in a week'. I am still dazed.


FYI -The questions he asked were generic : First name, Last name, DOB, place of birth for both myself and my spouse.

Today (08/09/07): Somebody called me from TSC and said its approved ! :)

Erm, congratulations but are you sure they were from the Texas Service center...why would they ask you for information they should already have!?

How did you know your name check was cleared in Nov 05?

Although that sounds wierd that somebody would actually call to let you know...what the heck!!!

While asking questions, he was kinda reading out my information on file and everything matched, so I am positive that he is from TSC, for real.

i saw few cases received calls from TSC and approved after they were asked few simple questions directly. not a surprise to me.

In fact i am well prepared to all q's but TSC is calling me :D :D :D :D :D No luck to me since I am stuck in NC hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, yes, it's hellllllllllllllllll

Well, this is the fourth labor that clicked. I have been in this process from 5 years.

First labor - EB3 - filed in 2003 - company closed
Second labor - changed employer - filed in 2004 - EB3 (even though I have masters + 5+ years of experience) - went to backlog - no trace of it.
Third labor - filed in 2004 - EB2 - went to backlog - no trace of it.
Fourth labor - changed employer - filed in July 2005 in Perm.
